WOW! What more can we say. Ok.....Lots and here it is.

We both needed to move very quickly in a very dynamic market on both ends of our move. Our relocation company gave us a choice of three realtors and actually contacted the three for us. We were both amazed at the cavalier attitude displayed by two of the three. One did not call us for two days, and the other did not call back when she promised and then acted offended when we told her she lost the listing.

And then came Tom Ivarson. In all our dealings with realtors (and we have bought and sold five houses between the two of us); you stand head and shoulders above the rest. We were most impressed by several factors:

  1. Your Responsiveness. You called us within hours of getting our name from the relocation company and not only set an appointment for the next day, but gathered as much preliminary info as you could in order to prepare for our initial mtg.
  2. Your Preparation. You came to us the next day (in less than 24 hours) and were totally prepared. You had completed comps and within 15 minutes we reached an agreed upon asking price. You had already communicated with my relo company and fully understood what needed to be done.
  3. Your Professionalism. We viewed you as extremely professional in all our dealings with you. You led us through a very difficult process (for a relative lay person) in a very calm and patient manner. You never slandered your competition or your peers and helped us through the deluge of paperwork in a very efficient manner.
  4. Your Personal Touch. You were there for us day and night, no matter how silly the question. You always responded within two hours of any calls. You even helped us move our furniture!!!! We really appreciated your watching out for all our possessions while we were traveling and you were showing.
  5. Your Negotiating Skills. We felt that you really helped us to get what we got for this house, not just in dollars, but also in terms and conditions.
  6. Your Follow Through. I did not have to chase after you. You actually chased after us and had questions answered before we could even ask them. I find that to be unusual in this day and age.
